Unique on the Peru's coast, Tambopampa is made up of Ica's two most famous breeding ranches. Managed by Rafael Castro Barreda, the Santa Cecilia's breeding ranch has been registered at the National Association for Owners and Breeders of Peruvian Paso Horses (ANCPCPP) since 1979. Run by Don Hugo Nieto Suarez and Marcos Nieto, the Santa Vicenta del Propiedad ranch joined the ANCPCPP in 1946.

Our horses are the best Pasos' descendants and are trained by our “chalanes” in the respect of familial ancestral traditions. Very well adapted to the coast's climate and relief, our Pasos have all the qualities of the riding horses – endurance, docility, availability – to which are added their breed's characteristics – the amble “paso”, the “término”, the “brio”.

Our horseback riding tours in Peru are supervised by Pasos trainers and a logistic team that provides for supplies, maximum comfort and security. Crossing through desert, rocky and sandy hills, fields, coastal forests and wild beaches, our horseback riding vacations guarantee an immersion into an unknown Peru.
